HP Designjet 4000

The HP Designjet 4000ps has been added to our Ventura location. The 5500ps has a 42" roll width and produces color prints at a 600x1200 dpi. It uses a 6 ink system for superb photo quality with a wide color gamut, continuous tones, and smooth color transitions. The printer contains a 40 GB Hard drive for storing and managing large files. We can print to bright white, coated paper for line drawings as well as clear film, and vellum. We also carry Glossy Photo paper for Graphic printing.

Kip 8000

The Kip 8000 digital printer has been recently added to our Santa Barbara location. This is the fastest wide format machine on the market capable of printing 22 "D" size sheets per minute. The Kip can handle Postscript, PDF, and Jpeg files as well as .plt files using the 8000 driver. The scan to print mode results in excellent copies with solid blacks, grayscale, and dithering capabilities. Photos are reproduced with distinctive clarity. In addition, the Kip 8000 can scan to PDF format directly. Prints are exceptionally smooth due to the a new technology that enhances the toner flow to pick up diagonals and curved lines with sharp detail.

Xerox 8855 Synergix

The XES Synergix has been added to the Ventura location. The XES Synergix 8855 Digital Solution integrates the amazingly fast 8855 Printer, the all-powerful AccXES Controller and the Synergix Scan System to deliver unprecedented productivity levels. It eliminates steps from every aspect of the work process to provide excellent quality and high volume throughputs.

Client Planroom

We have installed a Citrix server that allows our clients to view files that reside on our server and submit print jobs to us through PlotWorks. Jobs that are submitted to us via PlotWorks are printed at our Santa Barbara location. The Planroom resides on a secured server with password protection to allow access specifically to your own directory on the server. Your directory will consist of a number of folders which might hold various jobs. Scanned images residing within these folders can be individually viewed through our Imager by "double-clicking" the file. Large projects can be reviewed through the internet on any PC, anywhere! Projects can be indexed through our Indexed Database software for quick searches of specific drawings. By having access to the files that reside at Trico, you can now confirm revisions, submissions, and the current drawings that we have available for printing.
