Architectural & Engineering Plotting

Most Architectural & Engineering files are printed on our high-speed digital printers.  In some cases, we must print directly to an ink jet printer when red highlights are needed or spot color is required. Certain programs such as Chief Architect or Vectorworks create .prn files that require an ink jet printer.  When the drawing consists mainly of lineart in black we charge by the following matrix:

Graphic/Illustration/Photo Plotting

We use an H.P. 5500ps , H.P. 1055 and an H.P. 4000 for our color plotting. When files are composed of color or contain graphics, we use a pricing matrix that takes into account the ink coverage on the sheet.  These files will usually require us to use graphics programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop. We have three medias within inventory. Color Bond 24# works well for inexpensive prints with less than 50% coverage. Premium Color Bond 40# is suited for full coverage drawings and presentation work. Glossy Photo will produce picture-like reproductions.
